Remember that one time I took a break from blogging for a few weeks because life got way too busy,  then all of a sudden without realizing, it had become an INSANE amount of time since my last post? Nope... Me either...
Okay, okay... its been stupid long since I've posted..  But I miss talking about clothes, taking pretty pictures, and sharing all my fashion finds with you!  So, basically- I'm back! And happy to have some amaaaaazing jewelry to share for my first post!

I was super excited when I found out I would be shooting for an accessories line called Ayana Designs with my lovely friend, Chris Fitzgerald- mainly because Chris is a wonderful human who's always down to get weird and we always have fun.. But when I saw what we'd be shooting, I was straight giddy!  Theres just something about turquoise and silver that feels like long days, warm nights, melty popsicles, inflatable pool toys- summer!  Geometric shapes, tassels, chokers- Ayana Designs collection is made up of bold statement necklaces, bracelets, and rings made of gorgeous materials from silver and polished stones like turquoise, to sparkly crystals and even bandanas, which  are pieced together so perfectly.  Her pieces can be worn individually for an chic understated look, but they're seriously screaming to be stacked and layered in a "more is more" fashion.  In these photos, I'm wearing pieces from her most recent collation Rising Sun, which you can check out here and check out her Instagram for more layering and styling ideas.

Ive been working on a new project of my own that Im SO excited to share!  I'm not gonna spill the beans about what it is just yet, but hopefully Ill be ready to in the next few weeks, so please check back!  I hope you will love it as much as I do:)  Thanks for reading xoxo

No Flex Zone

I cannot tell a lie, so here is my confession:  I own EVERY color of this Silk Kitten set from O-Mighty (the Leather Kitten set too, but thats another blog post!)... And I am not sorry.  This set is so sexy, comfortable, and versatile- it's without a doubt my current style obsession.  I've been a known O-mighty fan ever since their start of simple quirky crop tops and sweatpants,  so I'm ecstatic that they have grown to expand their line to fashion forward stylish apparel!   I don't usually show a lot of skin, but nothing a cropped leather jacket can't fix to make you feel a little more modest.  Paired here with a chunky metal necklace and sky high stilettos with a serious PSA.

All black errthang- can't go wrong ever!  For this look, different textures like silk, mesh, and velvet mix it up and give the blacks some dimension and make things a little more interesting.  Added some subtle silver accessories for some contrast without being too distracting.  I've never really been the biggest fan of pumps or pointy toed shoes in general, but these open-back Marino's by Jeffrey Campbell are a cool twist on an old classic pump and are seriously awesome.

Tell Me More

Channeled my inner Sandra Dee for this Grease inspired editorial I shot with Dave Tada for Borealis Magazine styled by Alex Jillian.  I loved the styling so much (which were mostly vintage items) so I went on a hunt for similar pieces to recreate this look:

Dave Tada shoots with only a film camera which is pretty rare/ badass, and is truly a master of his craft-  follow him on Instagram and Tumblr to see more of his amazing work!

And while you're at it, follow me on instagram and tumblr too;)

Hex Hex Hex

I've always been a bit girly and have never been one for pants... but Long Clothing's amazing design skills have gotten me into the first pair I've had in years- the Long x Orphanage Clip Pants.  When I went to Japan last summer I saw so many hip, stylish kids in these type of drop crotch pants and remember being so disappointed when I couldn't pull them off because they looked completely ridiculous on me.  Somehow Long Clothing managed to make the "diaper pant" look awesome and flattering without giving that saggy droopy mom-butt look.  Thanks, Long Clothing- I'm officially a pants gal.
Ps. Yes indeed- I DO love big flat brim hats;)

Bled White

Style Moi killig me again with this gorgeous lace maxi dress!  This dress is unlined so you can wear just about anything underneath it to create tons of versatile looks:  Wear a white or nude slip to keep it classic and formal,  a bright bodysuit to give it a fun pop of color, or a black bralette and high waisted shorts as styled here to make it edgy and sexy for a daytime or evening look (which is my favorite way to wear it).  Keep your footwear color to match whatever you layer underneath and you're good to go!    Special thanks to Adam Rindy for not only the rad photographs, but also for lending me a hat from his collection from the best hat store I've ever seen (and worth a stop should you ever find yourself in Virginia City).  This dress is such a head turner, so I keep the accessories minimal with some silver and bronze layering necklaces.
